Happy Thursday! I know it’s been a while since my last post, but if you knew how much I missed my blog, you would definitely forgive me. I have quite a few outfits to show you in the next few weeks, so stay tuned.
I am still on my way of figuring out what my style is about, but what I know for sure is that there is a part of me that just can’t live without tailored, classic wool coats. They’ve been on high rotation in my closet during the last year, and became the essential of my winter wardrobe. You probably already saw me wearing a grey wrap coat in this post from December, and a camel coat a bit earlier. However, a few days ago, when I was particularly in the mood for wearing black, I realized that my favourite black wool coat no longer fits me (yes, there are some disadvantages of working out). Since this kind of coats stays trendy in an upcoming spring season, I found a substitute quite easily, at our local Zara store.
Although masculine and tailored wool coats like the one I am wearing blend easily into my somewhat classic and/or minimalistic wardrobe, I am sure that there are some of you who may wonder if there are other, more casual or less casual ways of wearing it. My first choice would definitely include denim and sneakers or trainers that are still among top shoe trends of this season, by the way. If I was in a dressier than usual kind of mood, I would go for a bow tie blouse and a mini skirt, with some heeled ankle boots or oxfords.
