You can’t imagine how happy I am that spring has finally arrived to Montreal. I’ve been waiting for these long walks, bike rides and days full of sunlight for so long. Spring is almost like a New Year’s Eve here, I am telling you. The only challenge that keeps coming along is finding a pair of walking, preferably slip-on shoes, which are stylish enough to wear with smart casual outfits and comfortable enough to make those 10,000 steps a day.
Let me tell you a secret. Last summer, I’ve been wearing my training shoes all the time: when running errands, travelling and even to the office, since I had some knee pain and these were the most comfortable shoes I had. I would change them for something fashionable only for a date night or for a photo. Why didn’t I wear those trendy flat slip-on shoes instead? I picked a pair of beautiful black slip-on shoes, and was informed about their innovative built-in technology, which ensures exceptional breathability, lightness and comfort. The sole was designed to follow the natural roll of the foot during walking, and provides the cushioning and flexibility our feet need so badly. Needless to say, I was curious to see whether Nebula shoes I got would live up to its promise, and I walked almost 10 kilometres (about 6 miles) wearing them last Sunday. Guys, that 10km walk felt like walking on clouds. These shoes feel that natural and weightless on feet; I almost had the impression of walking barefoot. Now I just can’t stop thinking about getting another pair in white.
