Valentine’s Day Outfit

Happy Friday, guys! Valentine’s Day is less than a week away, and most of us are either busy planning an exciting date night (and a matching Valentine’s day outfit, of course), or busy explaining to ourselves why we are not. As for me, I always loved it – I think love is worth celebrating no matter what your relationship status is. For some reason, it’s common to think that the only type of love we should think about next week is the romantic one. Yet we all have that other love for friends and family, and most importantly, ourselves – and sometimes that kind of love can be more rewarding than any relationship you’ve ever been in. So this February 14, surround yourself by people you love, do things you love doing, and of course, wear clothes that will make you fall in love with yourself.

For once, I didn’t think about my Valentine’s Day outfit much – first of all, one of my resolutions this year was to wear more red, so I thought that this one-shoulder floral print dress paired with red lipstick would be a great way to start. Secondly, Le Parloir, an exclusive wine club where our photoshoot took place, definitely called for some modern elegance in my attire. Just in case you didn’t hear about this chic spot that recently opened in Montreal, make sure to check it out – doesn’t it look like a perfect place for a date night? To be honest, I just can’t imagine a better way to spend this V-Day than to be sipping a glass of my favourite wine in a company of my favourite people, surrounded by some fine decor and great atmosphere.

I was wearing:

Kell Dress by Club Monaco (now on sale)
Bag by Rebecca Minkoff
Pumps by L’Intervalle (sold out, similar here on sale, here and here)
Choker by Vanessa Mooney (sold out, similar here and here
